Code of Conduct & Discipline
General Conduct
All students are expected to maintain discipline, decorum, and mutual respect within the campus premises at all times. Students must adhere to the rules and regulations laid down by the institute and the affiliating university.
Attendance
Regular attendance in lectures, practicals, and other academic activities is mandatory. A minimum attendance percentage, as prescribed by the university, is required to be eligible to appear for examinations.
Ragging
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited on campus and in hostels, in accordance with UGC regulations and directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Any student found indulging in or abetting ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including expulsion.
Dress Code & Identity Card
Students must dress appropriately and wear their identity cards at all times while on campus. Entry without a valid ID card may be restricted.
Prohibited Activities
- Use of tobacco, alcohol, or any prohibited substances within campus premises
- Any form of harassment, bullying, or misconduct towards fellow students or staff
- Damage to institute property, furniture, or equipment
- Unauthorized use of mobile phones during lectures and examinations
Disciplinary Action
Violation of any of the above rules may result in disciplinary action ranging from a warning, fine, suspension, or expulsion from the institute, depending on the severity of the offence, as decided by the Disciplinary Committee.
