General Eligibility Rules
All students seeking admission to the First Year (F.Y.) of all faculties are required to complete the necessary eligibility formalities on or before the specified due date to confirm their admission status.
Important Note: Students who fail to comply with this procedure for any reason should note that their admissions will automatically stand cancelled. The college authorities shall not be held responsible under any circumstances.
Eligibility Certificate Requirements
Students migrating from other universities or boards (either from within Maharashtra or outside Maharashtra State) will be admitted on production of an Eligibility Certificate (or a provisional admission certificate, pending the issue of the final certificate) issued by Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Required original documents (along with standard photocopies) to apply to Pune University:
- 1. Passing Certificate
- 2. Statement of Marks
- 3. Migration Certificate from the previous University / Board
Additional Required Certificates:
- i) Attendance Certificate
- ii) Character Certificate from the Principal of the previous college
- iii) Eligibility Certification Fee Payment Receipt
In all cases, eligibility fees paid are non-refundable (Ref. P.U. Circular No. 82 of 1978).
The responsibility for obtaining the Eligibility Certificate lies with the students. The college will provide guidance where necessary.
N.B.: The above rules of eligibility apply equally to all students admitted to Post Graduate classes.
